SMS Terms & Conditions
Terms for the Chief SMS program.
These terms govern participation in David Navarrete (Chief), a private personal-assistant SMS program.
Effective September 5, 2026
1. Program description
David Navarrete, operating the program known as Chief, sends appointment reminders, task reminders, scheduling updates, and replies to inbound SMS support questions to a small group of individually approved contacts. Chief sends no marketing or promotional content and uses no purchased or rented lists.
2. Enrollment and consent
You may enroll by texting START to +1 512-631-3707 after reviewing the Chief SMS disclosure from David Navarrete. By enrolling, you consent to receive automated and non-automated text messages related to the Chief program. Your consent is not a condition of any purchase.
3. Message frequency and charges
Message frequency varies based on the reminders, notifications, and conversations you request. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. Chief does not charge a separate fee for SMS participation.
4. Opting out
Reply STOP at any time to opt out. David Navarrete (Chief) will process the request and send one final confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. After that confirmation, no further messages will be sent unless you later text START to enroll again.
5. Help and customer care
Reply HELP for help or email filmingdavid@gmail.com. Support is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis and is not an emergency service.
6. Delivery and carrier availability
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery can be affected by carrier availability, network conditions, device settings, service-provider interruptions, and other circumstances outside Chief’s control. Chief does not guarantee that a reminder or notification will arrive at a particular time.
7. Responsible use
You agree not to use Chief for unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, or harmful activity, or to attempt to interfere with its operation. Do not rely on Chief for emergencies, urgent safety matters, or as a substitute for professional medical, legal, or financial advice.
8. Privacy
Chief’s handling of personal information and SMS consent data is described in the Privacy Policy. SMS opt-in data and consent are not sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
9. Program changes or termination
David Navarrete may modify, suspend, or discontinue Chief when reasonably necessary. These terms may also be updated to reflect changes to the program, service providers, or applicable requirements. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
10. Disclaimer and limitation
Chief is provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, David Navarrete disclaims implied warranties and is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from participation in the program or delayed or failed message delivery.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any rights that cannot legally be limited remain unaffected.
