This policy explains how David Navarrete handles information collected through this website and the Chief SMS program.

1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to davidnavarrete.com and the Chief SMS program operated by David Navarrete. Chief is a private, low-volume personal-assistant service for a small group of individually approved contacts. It provides appointment reminders, task reminders, scheduling updates, and replies to inbound SMS support questions.
2. Information Chief may collect
Chief may collect and process:
- Your name, mobile number, and contact identity.
- SMS content you send to Chief and messages delivered in response.
- Consent records, including opt-in and opt-out status and related timestamps.
- Requested reminder details, scheduling information, and other information you choose to provide.
- Operational records such as message identifiers, delivery status, error records, and security-validation results.
- Limited technical information generated when these policy pages are requested, such as standard server and security logs.
3. How information is used
Chief uses information to:
- Deliver appointment reminders, task reminders, scheduling updates, and replies to inbound SMS support questions.
- Identify approved contacts and enforce messaging preferences.
- Record and honor START, STOP, and HELP requests.
- Authenticate requests, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and reconcile message delivery.
- Maintain the program, comply with applicable law, and protect the rights and safety of users and service providers.
Chief does not use your information to send marketing or promotional messages and does not use purchased or rented contact lists.
4. SMS consent and data sharing
Mobile numbers, SMS opt-in data, and SMS consent records are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories of data sharing described in this policy exclude SMS opt-in data and consent except where necessary to operate and deliver the requested messaging service.
Information may be disclosed only as reasonably necessary to vendors that help operate Chief and deliver the requested service. These may include telecommunications carriers, messaging platforms, cloud hosting, workflow automation, email, scheduling, artificial intelligence, security, and technical-support providers. They receive information only to perform services for Chief or as required by law.
5. Retention
Chief retains information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, preserve consent and opt-out records, maintain security and delivery history, resolve disputes, and meet legal or regulatory obligations. Information may be deleted or de-identified when it is no longer needed.
6. Security
Chief uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information, including contact authorization, request verification, restricted access, and delivery records. No system can guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices
- Reply STOP at any time to opt out of Chief SMS messages.
- Reply START to opt in again after opting out.
- Reply HELP or email filmingdavid@gmail.com for assistance.
- Contact the same email to ask about access, correction, or deletion of your information, subject to legal and operational retention requirements.
8. Children
Chief SMS is intended for approved adult contacts and is not directed to children under 13. David Navarrete does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this program.
9. Policy updates
This policy may be updated as Chief changes or legal requirements evolve. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated when required.
